FACE masks will now have to be worn on the streets of central Périgueux following discussions between the Dordogne préfecture and mairie.
With the number of tourists visiting Périgueux still high, and the increased number of cases of Covid-19 in France, the decision has been made to require the wearing of masks at all times when walking through the narrow streets of the town.
The requirement came into effect on Saturday morning, 15 August, and operates between 8h and 2h, until further notice.
Below is a map of the central area of Périgueux where wearing a mask will be required.
