BELVES aeronautical club will be hosting a slimmed down version of its annual aeroplane meeting on Saturday 15 August, when it opens its doors to visitors.
The event usually draws aircraft from across France, but due to the Covid-19 restrictions, it will be a local affair with the chance to find out more about the aircraft and the services on offer at the Belvès aerodrome.
People will also have the opportunity to take short trips over Belvès and the Dordogne valley with one of the club's pilots, as well as the chance to take a flight on the aircraft simulator.
Model aircraft will also be on display, as well as a display of drones, and information will be available should you want to find out more about the club's training courses.
The club is found on the D 54 around 4km from Belvès in the direction of Cadouin. Entrance is free, but strict barrier measures will be in place so please ensure you take a face mask to wear.
