THE Nouvelle-Aquitaine health authorities are offering free Covid-19 testing in towns in the Dordogne, as well as the Lot-et-Garonne and other départements in south west France.
The tests are being offered to try and measure any risk from the recent de-confinement measures, and will be targetting busier areas of the region where tourist numbers are high at this time of the year.
The tests are free and you don't need to make an appointment, but alongside wearing a mask you will need to provide a form of identification such as a passport and your carte vitale.
