THE churches of Orliac and Loubejac will each play host to a concert of baroque music and readings of French classics next month.
Hosted by Jean-Pierre Menuge, he will be joined by Barbara Deheul, who will read selected works and Fernanda Romila on the harpsichord.
Orliac will host the first concert on Sunday 9 August, starting at 17h, and Loubejac will play host on Monday 10 August, starting at 21h.
With the theme being Femmes du Grand Siècle a selection of work from Bach, Handel, Telemann and others will be on offer, with readings from the writing of La Fontaine, Sévigné and more.
Tickets are priced 12 euros, with student tickets priced 8 euros and free entry for under-16s, and tickets can be bought on the door half-an-hour before the concert starts.
You will be asked to respect all Covid-19 precautions so please wear a face mask inside the church, keep your distance to others and ensure you regularly clean your hands.
