Well there are a few events over the weekend, and next week, around Villefranche-du-Périgord so you can enjoy some music, a bite to eat and maybe even pick up a bargain or two.

Friday 20 May
Folk music from Mehaye - Les Z’Igolos 24170 Carves, near Belves.
The Saint-Cernin-de-l'Herm based Mehaye bring their wide range of folk and world music to the intimate surroundings of Les Z’Igolos, Carves, with tickets priced at 8 euros for adults and 5 euros for the under 12s.
Mehaye are set to take to the stage from 21h
Saturday 21 May
Market day in Villefranche-du-Périgord.
Sunday 22 May
Pick up a bargain at the vide granier in aid of the Villefranche-du-Périgord village school. The event starts at 09h and runs along the Rue Notre Dame in the centre of the village.
Wednesday 25 May
The Café du Commerce, in the place de la halle, Villefranche-du-Périgord, is hosting an Africa-America evening with a set meal priced 19,50 euros and music from Mylkia's Soul Brothers. It all kicks off from 20h30.
