Plenty of laughs from La Vache in Villefranche-du-Périgord: 13 May

ALGERIAN farmer, Fatah, dreams of taking his favourite cow, Jacqueline, to the Paris International Agricultural Show.

One day an invitation arrives asking him to attend the show, and whilst Fatah has enough money to reach Marseille with his cow, he decides to walk the rest of the way and so their adventures begin.

The showing, in French, takes place on Friday 13 May and starts at 20:30 at the foyer rural, Place de la Halle, Villefranche-du-Périgord. Tickets are priced €6 with reduced rates of €4.50.

Ainsi, lorsqu'il reçoit la précieuse invitation devant tout son village ébahi, lui qui n'a jamais quitté sa campagne, prend le bateau direction Marseille pour traverser toute la France à pied, direction Porte de Versailles.
