R Halls

We've just got back from visiting Paris and a man walked up beside us, bent down and picked a gold wedding ring up off the floor. He turned to us with a surprised smile on his face and said it's too small for him and gave it to me. He then walked off turned around and came back and asked for money. I quickly gave him the ring back and he got very aggressive with us, we quickly walked off. We realised later that it was a scam. The ring was in his hand all the time, he didn't find it, it's just another way to con people out of money. He was not from France but I won't say what country he came from. Just be aware.
