THE BBC's new autumn adventure series, Merlin, will have as its backdrop a château found to the north east of Paris.
Château de Pierrefonds will be home to the 13-part series which starts on September 20, at 7.30pm, as it plays the role of Camelot, and with its majestic towers it is sure to pull off the task with aplomb.
Although the château has the look of a medieval stronghold the original building was destroyed, but in the 19th century architect Viollet-le-Duc was tasked with the rebuilding job.
The Château de Pierrefonds is a popular tourist retreat, so if you have a holiday home in the area I'd update your website with mention of the series, and with the arrival of the BBC it is sure to be opened up to a whole new audience.
