THERE are a number of downloadable .pdf documents on This French Life that may prove useful as they cover issues such as local taxes, property purchases, education and even flying safely.
So I've brought them together onto the one page so that you can access them whenever you want by saving them to your computer.
The files are in .pdf format and will open on all PC and Mac computers, if the file does not open you will need to download the Adobe reader software.
To download the documents, right-click on the links and select 'save target as' or 'save link as' and select somewhere on your computer to save the file, your desktop is usually easiest.
Once downloaded you can double click on the file and start reading or print it out, all without being connected to the internet.
- Guide to buying property in France

- Income from movable assets
(please use as a guide as applicable to 2005)
- Making a French property purchase
(from Notaires de France press event)
- Civil Aviation Authority Fitness to Fly guide

Most of the documents should download very quickly on a broadband connection, for those on dial-up then the education system .pdf is the largest so may take a little time.
