The shutter picture is interesting because it appears the wrong way round.

I saw a similar example in Issigeac recently and I can only assume this is done so it looks nicer indoors when the shutter is closed and the shutters look nice from the outside when they are open.


Surely they are "inside" out to stop the user from having to go outside in order to shut them?? Not having shutters on our house, I can't say but it would seem logical - or is it just me??
