NOT very French related this one, more for regular users of email, but if like me you receive messages warning you about new car theft tricks or incredible stories, just double check before passing them on.
Common ones I see are usually about cars being hijacked or some young child desperate for a heart transplant which people forward hoping to help out, but in some cases cause more problems for those mentioned in the messages.
One of the easiest ways to check is to copy and paste the opening line into Google to see what has been said, or check sites such as Hoax Slayer or Truth or Fiction.
