A HOUSE with a difference is set to be built in Normandy, making use of old tyres, bottles, cans and piles of rubbish.
The Earthship is to be modelled on similar properties in the US and be completely eco-friendly, using solar panels to generate its energy needs and recycling water.
The Telegraph takes a look at the project in Normandy which will cost £125,000 to build the three bed home and has been given the blessing of the local mayor.
You can also take a browse around the website for the house which offers a wealth of information via the blog link, and even the chance to rent the place to getting a working knowledge of it.
