HERE is a collection of website tools that you might find interesting to try out or incorporate into your own sites.
The first has been spotted by Rion, which may prove useful if you have a number of photographs.
It is a handy little 'widget' that allows you to present a number of photographs, in a variety of different ways, that add a touch of interactivity to a site.
One of the things I've often seen when people create their own website is they face severe restrictions on the number of photographs they can display.
Well GoodWidgets allows you to draw your photographs stored on Flickr into an interactive album that you can display as a book where people click the corner of the page to turn it, as well as a variety of other types.
This will get you around the rules on how many photographs you can display, and let you show of your pics in a very attractive way.
The second site is Loopnote which is an announcement type service that works similar to a newsletter.
I am a big fan of using a newsletter with a website, but if you think you might not have a great deal to say then this could be an option.
Once you have set up a free account you can use the site to highlight events, special deals or last minute availability, and so ensure your subscribers are kept in touch with your website.
And finally here is a very wizzy website called Wingmap that is a flight search engine with a difference.
It uses a map of Europe to highlight airports close to your home and your destination so that you can get to see if it is worth travelling a little further to get a better deal.
It is still in the early stages of development so some airports are missing, but it has such a great look and is so easy to use, that it is sure to prove popular.
