I WOULD hate to think how many websites I go through each day to keep up-to-date with all things France.
But once in a while a site will stop me in my tracks and time will just drift by as I read and look through the images and photographs featured.
And this happened with the site of French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand whose pictures of the earth, people and animals are stunning.
Yann Arthus-Bertrand is best known for his photographs of the land taken from helicopters or hot-air balloons which provide you with a very different perspective on the world around you.
His site features a collection of over 100 photographs of France from the air, including one of a deer running through a field of yellow flowers and the Millau Viaduct looking like a flotilla of yachts.
But he has also taken portraits of French people from many walks of life and backgrounds, capturing their character in the snap of his shutter.
And one of the best things about the site is that the photographs can be freely used as desktop images so you add a bit of sparkle to your computer.
