Poll gives Front National boost for 2014 Euro vote

A POLL looking at voting intentions for the 2014 European elections has placed Marine Le Pen’s Front National party in second place, behind the opposition UMP.

The Socialist party of François Hollande would find itself in third position claims the YouGov survey (download .pdf) for Le HuffPost and Itélé.

Overall the survey findings should make depressing reading for the old political classes, respondents were heavily critical of both the Socialists and UMP parties in a variety of questions about the way France is governed.
