Carnet ticket option from MyFerryLink

IF you regularly cross between the UK and France then the carnet ticket option offered by ferry companies may be worth investigating.

MyFerryLink has announced details of its own deal for crossings between Dover and Calais where if you travel more you save more.

So if you are a frequent traveller then you can cross the Channel for a fixed price starting from £25 per crossing for a car and up to nine passengers if you buy 24 single tickets.

Prices for 18 single tickets are £27 per crossing, 10 single tickets are £29 per crossing and six single tickets are £31 per crossing.

A supplement applies for peak holiday dates and a 25% supplement applies to motorhomes and minibuses. For more details visit the carnet tickets page on

Bonjour! A quick word, I'm sure all will be well, but buy on credit card to protect yourself if they go broke. I bought a carnet from Speed Ferries and when they went out of business, I reclaimed on the card, (Section 75 Consumer Credit Act applied at the time. I'm sure it still does.) Bon voyage!
