Business leader warns France will become 'sick man of Europe'
THE leader of the French business association, MEDEF, has said the economy is facing 'hurricane' conditions and that the government is making poor decisions.
Laurence Parisot, head of employers' group MEDEF, speaking in Le Figaro said that business leaders were very worried by the current situation and the budgetary decisions taken by François Hollande.
Instead of looking at ways to make French business more competitive and reduce the costs of employment, Laurence Parisot said that the budget has seen some look at leaving France and that foreign investors are beginning to look elsewhere.
Laurence Parisot warns that France runs the risk of becoming the 'sick man of Europe'.
