Yannick Agnel, the new star of French sport

THE French sporting world has a new hero, 20-year-old Yannick Agnel, who has won two gold medals and a silver at the Olympic games in London.

...the world has been wondering who is the calm and collected Agnel, the unlikely star torpedoing high-achieving rivals such as the American Ryan Lochte. The New York Times has pinned its hopes on Lochte but concedes: "For now, the man of the meet is a tall, lantern-jawed French freestyler named Yannick Agnel."
