Would you choose a child-free section on a flight?

This-french-life-threeNOW don't tell a certain low cost operator, but a survey of American airline passengers found that almost a third would like to see child-free sections on aircraft.

Travel website Skift, says the survey of 360 travellers across the US revealed 30% of respondents would prefer to sit in an area of the aircraft away from children.

But interestingly only 4% said they would be willing to pay for the privilege, the top two most important features for travellers were increased leg room and the option of being able to use wifi during flights, services that are usually charged for.

Would an airline go all the way and offer child free flights? Who knows, but with ideas such as stand up seats, pay toilets and only one pilot per flight having gained column inches in the past it wouldn't come as a surprise to see it 'put out there'.
