Skype on iPhone and iPad gets photo sharing update
I KNOW many people use Skype to keep in touch with family and friends, but an update to the iPhone and iPad versions now enables you to easily share photos.
The latest version of the application lets you send images you've taken on your device to your Skype contacts, and there are no email size limits or the risk of paying expensive MMS charges.
Of course normal data charges will apply.
You can already send photos, and other files, with the desktop version of Skype, but with people often taking their iPhone or iPad out and about with them, this update will let you send images when away from your desk.
The Skype update will also make it use less battery power, enabling you to leave it running in the background and receive messages and calls direct.
You can share photos taken on the camera on my Android Pad with Skype contacts already. Is that any different?

Hi John, think you can on Android without any trouble, shows that Apple still has a few holes to fill.
