Free calls and texts for Orange customers after network faults

Orange mobile phoneIF you have an Orange mobile phone contract then look out for a message outlining a day of free use as an apology for the network failure on July 6.

Orange has said that its customers will receive a text message showing the date when people will not be charged for calls and text messages, Le Parisien says.

The Orange service was out of action for around 12 hours on July 6, and the fault also meant customers of Free Mobile and Virgin had trouble making connections.

The day on which you receive your free calls and texts will depend upon your contract type, with the dates set to take place in early September when people head back to work and the schools open for the new academic year.
