Yorkshire takes Tour de France bid to L'Équipe
THE campaign to see Yorkshire host a Grand Départ of the Tour de France in the near future has been taken to the pages of L'Équipe sports newspaper.

The tourism agency for Yorkshire has taken out an advert in the newspaper to raise awareness of its desire to host the opening stage of a future race.
They have already hosted representatives of Le Tour who were shown York and the Yorkshire Dales and saw the Yorkshire coast from Scarborough to the Humber Bridge.
