Two golds, silver and bronze for French Olympic team

IT has been a successful first Olympic weekend for the French team with two gold medals, a silver and a bronze.

The two gold medals came in the pool with the men's 4x100m relay beating the highly fancied USA and Australian squads, and Camille Muffat winning in the women's 400m freestyle.

The two other medal winners in the French Olympic team were Céline Goberville, who won a silver in the 10m air pistol and Priscilla Gneto who won a judo bronze in the -52kg category.

Medal winners were welcomed to the Club France exhibition hall, found on Old Billinsgate Walk in central London, which offers visitors a chance to rub shoulders with members of the Olympic squad.
