Keep an eye on costs when using mobile abroad


HERE are some handy pointers from Ofcom, the UK regulator, on ensuring you don't get stung by high mobile phone charges when holidaying in France, or other countries.

While many people are aware of the costs of making calls, Ofcom warn that the ability for many phones to now access the internet can see extremely high charges for the transfer of data.

And it is few months yet until EU regulations come into force ensuring fairer and more transparent prices for mobile phone use in Europe.
