Guide to starting your first blog about France

I AM always keen to highlight interesting blogs being written by people who either live in France or just enjoy following things happening in the country from a distance.

To catch up on a few check out some recent articles I've written here, here and here.

If after reading about the adventures of others you are keen to do some of your own blogging, where do you start?

Well yesterday I was involved in a course with a chap called Paul Fabretti where we got people up to speed on starting a blog.

As part of the course materials, Paul produced a handy guide that explained how to get started on the free service Blogger.com, and how to write your first post.

You can take a browse over the booklet or print it off if you wish, but the thing to remember is that you want to keep the techie side of things to a minimum in the early days, so you can concentrate on writing tales about life in France.

But I also think that the many people who head to France to start a business should be looking at starting a blog to help them succeed when it comes to things such as internet search, highlighting their knowledge and ultimately helping promote their businesses.

I have written a series of articles in the past about starting a blog, but if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below, and so to the handy guide:
