A welcome greeting from Paris guides

Paris greeterIF you are dropping in on Paris and want to see the city through the eyes of a local, drop in on the Paris Greeters website.

Around 120 volunteers offer walks around Paris, in a variety of languages, giving visitors a two or three hour tour of popular spots or those not so well-known corners of the city.

You have to book a couple of weeks in advance, and stay at least overnight in Paris, but it could provide an entertaining insight into the city and let you discover the real-life experience of locals (via World Hum).
