Children left in cars die from heat

FranceTWO children have recently died from heat exhaustion in separate cases where it is believed their fathers left them in their cars unaware they were there.

The first case occurred in the south east of France, where a two-year-old boy was left in the family car for nearly three hours by his father.

In another case a man left his house in eastern France and passed the family childminders to head to work, where he left his car, only to return later to find his three-year-old daughter had died while strapped into the back seat.
