Ride the Frogbus from Perpignan to Girona
A NEW bus service has been launched offering a connection between Perpignan and the Spanish airport of Girona, with a journey time of 85 minutes.
Frogbus offers a shuttle service between the two cities, that also calls at Le Boulou close to the border, six times a day with tickets starting from €5.
The first bus out of Perpignan sets off at 3.15am, passing through Le Boulou at 3.35am before getting to Girona at 4.45am, the last journey in the reverse direction leaves the Spanish airport at 11.55pm.
To keep costs down Frogbus provides a ticketless, online booking service, similar to budget airlines, where the earlier you book the cheaper the ticket.
A quick check this morning showed that I could travel between Perpignan and Girona on July 1 for €5 one-way, a saving on the usual price of €14, although I wasn't able to buy a return ticket without going through the buying process again.
The bus stops are located in Perpignan at the back of the train station; in Le Boulou beside the péage on exit 43 of the A9; and opposite the arrivals hall in the bus park at Girona Airport.
With the airport at Girona a popular destination for low-cost airlines, in particular Ryanair, the Frogbus may provide an alternative to hire cars and long distance trips to pick-up friends.

A very useful bus service for all those travelling into the PO. Go FROGBUS!!!

Hi Tom,
We have a taxi partner providing low cost taxi fares from our Le Boulou stop. See http://www.frogbus.com/en/Taxi/1000033.html . Taxis can be pre-booked to pick passengers up at Le Boulou to bring them to their final destination, including Amelie les Bains.

Hi Mary, I would click on through to the Frogbus website and contact the people behind the service directly.
All the best, Craig

Hi Frogbus have a section on their website outlining a list of transfer options by taxi from the dropoff points I think when I was there last week it was 37 for a daytime transfer and 49 for a night time transfer. That was from Le Boulou to Argeles not sure of the Perpignan one - I'd say more expensive as it is further away I think.
