Banking helpline launched

Euronotes2907_9THE Bank of France has launched a telephone helpline aimed at answering questions on the rules and regulations of the banking system.

The number, 0 811 901 801, is available Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm and will offer answers on a range of subjects, including setting up an account, credit rules and what to do if your card or cheque book is stolen.

And if you want to get a bit of a grounding in the basics there is a useful section on the Finance Ministry website offering answers to a number of banking questions.
