Flu jabs available

VACCINATION against the flu, or la grippe, is now available in pharmacies and is free to those aged over 65 or for people suffering certain medical conditions, such as diabetes.

The French government is keen to see more people take advantage of the service as just over half of those aged between 65 and 69 took advantage of the vaccination last year.

More details are available at Vaccination Grippe 2006.
