Flickr maps for photos

THERE are a few new additions to the This French Life Flickr album and a new feature that gives a sense of place to the photos.

Yahoo! maps have been incorporated into the Flickr service so that photographers can highlight the location of their pics, and see others close by.

So for example the site’s Flickr album has a map page where I’ve highlighted many of my own photos around Loubejac, in Dordogne.

But other members of the group have added location details for their pics so you can take a trip across France through the eye of each photographer.

And don’t forget if you have a Flickr account add one or two of your own photographs and their location details.
