Smoking ban in New Year, claims Le Figaro

Bluefrenchlifeblock03040_10THE French government is preparing to introduce a smoking ban in public areas, according to Le Figaro.

Rules are set to be announced in the autumn, with their introduction pencilled in for January 1, but bars selling cigarettes, casinos and nightclubs may enjoy an exemption.
