A new look at Paris

Voicecityparis220306EUROSTAR has started a new blog-style website that features the views and opinions of people living in Paris.

Voice of a City is a clearly laid out site that takes you out on the streets of the city and takes a look beyond the pages of a guide book.

There are currently seven writers on the site, each equipped with a digital camera, from countries around the world including Australia, the US and even a Parisian teddy bear.

The articles are placed into categories so you can find interesting restaurants, what’s on in the many museums of Paris and places to head for a night on the tiles.

What is good about Voice of a City is that the presence of Eurostar is kept just to the advertising on the site, there is no gratuitous mentions of the rail service in articles.

If you want to get involved and pass on your own ideas for spending time in Paris then you can easily add a comment, and even put your name forward to become a writer for the site.

It will be interesting to see if Eurostar rolls out this idea to other cities in their network.
