Stamps issued to mark centenary

THE Royal Mail and La Poste are joining forces to celebrate the centenary of the Entente Cordiale with the issuing of a special set of stamps.

The stamps depict works of art by the British abstract artist, Sir Terry Frost, and the French painter, Sonia Delauney.
It is not the first time that the Royal Mail and La Poste have issued a set of stamps together, they also marked the Channel Tunnel in 1994.
It is also possible to buy a joint first day cover, presentation packs of the stamps and cards depicting the works of the artists.
